Blog Archive Beyond the MBA Classroom Columbia Business School Follies When you select an MBA program, you are not just choosing your learning environment, but are also committing to becoming part of a community. Each Thursday, we offer a window into life âbeyond the MBA classroomâ at a top business school. The end of each semester at Columbia Business School (CBS) is marked with CBS Folliesâ"a completely student-run comedy and entertainment show that is performed for the schoolâs student body, which, we were informed, has been known to get rather rowdy during these presentations. CBS Follies made its mark in 2006 with the YouTube hit âEvery Breath Bernanke Takes, which lampooned CBS Dean Glenn Hubbardâs position as runner-up to Ben Bernanke to become chairman of the Federal Reserve.
